Dr. Jennifer Watson has spent most of her life in Pennsylvania, born in Bloomsburg and graduating high school in Berwick. She graduated from Bucknell University, including a semester abroad in Sydney, Australia. As a graduate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she received her medical degree and completed her residency training in Camden, NJ at the Children’s Regional Center at Cooper Hospital. As a resident, she received the Outstanding Teaching Award and co-founded a free clinic for uninsured patients. Jeni has worked as a general pediatrician in the Wyomissing area since 2005. She is a board certified pediatrician, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of both the American Osteopathic Association and the Berks County Medical Society. Though she enjoys all areas of pediatrics, her special interests include NICU graduates and lactation cases. She and her husband, Joe, (who is also a local physician), have a daughter and a son. Jeni enjoys cooking, entertaining friends and family, walking her dogs and hiking.
Dr. Lysette E. Ramos was raised in an active duty military family. She graduated cum laude from the University of Miami and was inducted into Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. She then attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and was the recipient of the Dr. Howard R. Rappaport Pediatric Award for Scholarship in Pediatrics. Dr. Ramos completed her pediatric residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Children’s Hospital of Montefiore in New York City where she was also awarded a Community Access to Child Health Resident Funds grant that was used to assess ways to support fatherhood. She also received the 2010 Behavioral Science Award for Excellence in Biopsychosocial Integration in Medical Practice. Desiring to narrow her focus to the mental health care of patients, she completed a specialized fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland training in Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Ramos is board certified in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Her professional interests include advocacy, systems of care, and underserved populations. She enjoys traveling, good meals, and time with her family.
Kortney West, M.D. is a board certified pediatrician. She was raised in Lafayette, Louisiana and was an honors graduate of St. Thomas More High School. Dr. West then graduated from Louisiana State University, with honors, where she was a proud member of Kappa Delta sorority. She went on to attend LSU’s medical school in Shreveport, Louisiana, and thereafter, completed her pediatric residency in Dallas, Texas at the University of Texas-Southwest, which was ranked by U.S. World and News as one of the top pediatric residency programs in the country.
After residency, Dr. West worked for a pediatric clinic in Gonzales, Louisiana before opening a concierge pediatric medical practice serving the greater Baton Rouge area. Work relocated her husband from Louisiana to Pennsylvania, and Dr. West will join Reading Pediatrics beginning in January of 2019.
Dr. West can cook a gumbo worthy of her Louisiana roots and loves to travel the world. As a mother of three, Dr. West understands the fears and stresses of being a parent and trying to do everything else life requires at the same time. Dr. West wants to provide holistic medical treatment and guidance in a way that lessens those fears and stresses as much as possible. She wants to truly know you and your children. Most importantly, she wants to be there for your family.
Dr. Lilly Yi was born in Philadelphia, PA but raised in Delaware County. She graduated summa cum laude from Temple University in 2008, where she was a Phi Beta Kappa and President’s scholar. She continued her education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, graduating in 2016 and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Yi returned to Delaware County to complete her residency training at Crozer Chester Medical Center. There she further cultivated her interests in health advocacy, social determinants of health, and went on to be a certified lactation counselor. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband, Jonathan, have a daughter and a high energy dog. She enjoys baking, yoga, and family time.
Carrie Lauer, PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant who was born and raised in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Beaver College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and then earned a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Arcadia University. Carrie has practiced in Florida and California specializing in general pediatrics as well as in allergy and asthma prevention and management. She is board certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Carrie resides with her husband, David, in Breinigsville. She enjoys traveling, skiing, fishing, and yoga.
Jennifer L. Lancaster, CRNP is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who was born in Marietta, Pennsylvania. She moved to Manheim as a teenager and currently resides there. She graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She went on to pursue her nursing degree and earned a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner studies at Thomas Jefferson University. Jennifer has practiced in the Reading and Hershey areas and specializes in General Pediatrics and Child Psychology. She is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hiking with husband, Dave and two dogs, Zeus and Mia. She also enjoys reading and taking weekend trips to the beach.
Lauren M. Zerbe, CPNP is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner . Born and raised in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing and then went on to pursue her Masters of Science degree in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Villanova University. Lauren was previously a nurse at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for over 4 years. She is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Lauren enjoys traveling with her husband, going on long walks with their dog, Sully, and baking
