Dr. Jamie Chmielowski was born and raised in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She graduated with highest honors from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Science Pre-Professional Studies. After graduating from college, she returned to the Philadelphia area and attended Jefferson Medical College. She completed her pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she was involved with homeless health care and received the compassionate care award.
Dr. Chmielowski is a board certified pediatrician, a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Berks County Medical Society and the multidisciplinary child abuse teams for Reading Hospital and Berks County Children and Youth Services, as well as a member of the Parent Advisory Committee for Reading Pediatrics Star Program. She and her husband Dave have two children and a dog. They enjoy camping, dining out, and spending time with their family and friends.
